68Design: Talk about your early and recent styles?
When it comes to the early days, I have to trace the design works and styles of 8 or 9 years ago, which is the beginning of the early days of Internet design.
In the early years, the works couldn\'t talk about commercial value. They simply defined the beauty they were doing. Since the beginning, I have been very strict with the control of design details, and also laid the attitude and direction for doing things in the future.
Until today, with the migration of the Internet design tide, the style is also quietly changing. The original three-dimensional coolness has changed to the flatness of today, and the nature has changed. However, the application of color has never been changed. .
Compared with the early stage, it now pays more attention to the characteristics of product branding. The starting point of design is to decompose the user experience from the beauty and structure of the past to the user psychology.
68Design: Can you share some of your experience in product design?
I have been studying what is design, how can I make a good design, and when I realize that a picture is actually the composition of the elements and the color combination, I find that I am going around, or returning to the most fundamental thing. .
In the early years, the designers in the industry actually belonged to two kinds. One is the freelance designer, who is led by his own thoughts and creates an independent brand with his own personality. When the person’s thoughts and personality are attractive enough. Commerciality also followed.
The other is to continue to round the gap between business and design, the essence of thinking that I like to gradually turn into a customer likes to go to a deeper level, everyone likes it, and it has achieved its biggest commercial value.
Whether it\'s a new product designed from 0 to 1 or an iterative version of a product with a mature process, the first step in designing a product is to collect and understand the requirements.
If you stand on the perspective of everyone thinking about the problem, you will certainly be convinced by yourself. As a product designer, you need to be able to jump out of this circle, stand outside the circle to see the problem and the most primitive needs you have captured.
Have a mind and spirit of continuous learning. Just like life, the product market that it faces is certainly not static. 68Design: What do you think of the current environment of the domestic UI design industry?
Compared with the Internet, UI design is a new industry in recent years. However, I started to study and design in this field in 2008. At that time, UI did not have a complete pen name. We called it interface design software design.
The UI design bubble in the early years did not have a normative thinking to define the direction of UI development. The design industry\'s emphasis on UI design interaction user experience is only a matter of recent years.
However, everyone has an understanding of beauty, and the times follow the development of science and technology, and our understanding of design is becoming more and more abundant.
The arrival of the IOS flat wind is also a kind of jump or breakthrough. In the unknown future, no one knows what we think is ugly at that time. Maybe it is a beautiful endorsement at that time. No absolute design, no absolute beauty!
68Design: What do you think is the most important thing to be a good UI designer?
I have always emphasized that a great designer should not spend his time on design composition.
What is the user experience:
First of all, do we understand life? What is the lifestyle of everyone? What do we know about real life in a nine-to-five mode every day? Life is not the occasion to play when you are free to travel. Most of the time we are repeating the life of two points and one line, what is it not to participate in the public habits? What is the experience of the hand in the eyes of the public, what is the experience? What is the user demand? We know what state a person is in when he is drunk. What did he want most at the time? We know why a person is happy when he is most happy and at the same time, what is the effect of adding vinegar in this state? The contact is closest, we don\'t know.
Many times, designers rely on accidental awareness and limited knowledge to evaluate and determine existing problems. They never enter the real life circle and go online to understand what each person wants. Standardized thinking, based on its own standard of judgment, is not mature in the products that are bred under such conditions.
What is logical:
From the perspective of the user, we have been emphasizing the logic of the product. Why should we let the user use the product and then implement the function and click? Often we emphasize product logic while ignoring the efficient and fast way for intuitive users. We are not doing logical products. The final standard is user-centered and others say it. Do not make people think that they are smart. When they are fools, what we have to do is to let fools not think. The fastest and most efficient way to complete the operation.
68Design: Which type or style of work do you currently enjoy?
